I’m breaking my streak so that I can post this on social media, but this is most likely my last post on Facebook.

The past month without using social media has actually been a mixed blessing. On one side, I’ve not been distracted by the apps (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) and their high levels of noise. I’ve also found myself taking more time to read and pursue more relaxing things to do in my downtime.

One downside I’ve noticed is that I’ve missed interaction with many people with whom I’ve created friendly relationships online.

While the latter is very important to me, getting of social media takes precedence. That’s why, as of March 16, 2025, I will be deactivating my Facebook and Instagram accounts. That means that I will no longer have access to any chats via FB messenger, so the only ways you will be able to get a hold of me are:

  • Calling me
  • Texting me
  • Emailing me

If you don’t have my contact info and want to stay in touch, you can shoot me a message via FB (I may or may not get it), or email SendLarryAMessage@Gmail.com and I’ll get back to you ASAP.

In the meantime, stay tuned here and check in for updates. The best way to do that is to use an RSS reader. What’s that?
