The lab will be where I write about the things that I create, whether it be something I've cooked in the kitchen, built in the garage, deployed to my home computer lab. It will be where good ideas go to hopefully live, and occasionally die from neglect. If anything, it will be a way to make myself more accountable to the plethora of things I'm trying to accomplish, and put down to "paper" the ideas that I'd love to eventually tackle.

What's currently being worked on in the lab?

• Lots of cooking!
• A smoker made out of a filing cabinet
• The virtual home network, filled with multimedia and other applications
• Cleaning up my messy desk, garage, basement, etc.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. There's also home electrical projects, wood chopping (which I need to learn how to do properly), etc. Plus, I'll be looking to you for ideas. Why not put something in my head that I can eventually make time to tackle?
